A tavola!

This is what we used to hear from our mom when lunch was about to be served.

From that moment on, we only had a few minutes to gather around the set table. We sat together, chatted, told each other about our day, and sometimes we even argued.

These rituals, these shared moments are part of our culture, and in Italy the set dining table still remains the heart of the whole house.

Inspiration of the design Ichnusa

Pavoncella sarda

The bird motif of our Ichnusa collection was inspired by the Sardinian Pavoncella.

The bird first appeared in Sardinia in the 6th century and today lives on arable land and pastures. For farmers, its sighting signifies a year of prosperity, fertility, and a good harvest.

Sardinian craftsmen therefore used the motif to bring good luck into people's home

Sustainable production

Handmade

All our pieces are handmade by small family businesses in Italy. This allows them to continue their traditions at fair prices and to work and make a living in their town or village.

Our ceramics are fired three times and painted with non-toxic paints. This process is lengthy, therefore production is limited but also completely sustainable.
